When is Enhanced External Counter Pulsation (EECP) is Right for Angina?

Angina is a type of chest pain caused by reduced blood flow to the heart. It is a symptom of Coronary Artery Disease also known as heart blockage . Angina is also called angina pectoris and its symptoms include squeezing, pressure, heaviness, tightness, or pain in your chest. It can be sudden or even reoccur over time. When a heart patient encounters angina episodes they don’t always need a surgery. Rather a doctor may prescribe them certain non-surgical treatment options. One such non-invasive treatment is EECP.  EECP is Enhanced External Counter Pulsation, a non-invasive treatment that is administered through three pairs of external inflatable cuffs that are applied around the lower legs, upper legs, and buttocks.
